To establish our Auditing Division, we have brought on Emilio F. Alvarez and his team from EFA CPAs & Business Advisors. Founded in South Florida in 1974, EFA has grown to become a local leader in Construction Auditing. By joining forces, we will now be able to strengthen H&CO's newly formed Audit Division and provide specialized Construction Audit and Consulting Services.

The Audit Division will be led by Emilio F. Alvarez, Founder and Managing Partner of EFA. Emilio will be responsible for the overall strategic function and objectives of the Audit Team.
Emilio has over 40 years of experience, serving clients in the construction industry throughout the United States. He is the author and presenter of many seminars about Construction Accounting and Auditing to banks, sureties, government authorities and CPA groups. Additionally, Emilio serves on the Construction Management Industry Advisory Council at Florida International University's School of Construction Management. He is also a member and past chairman of the National Construction Industry Conference Steering Committee of the AICPA.
